Meet Sarafeen.
Sarafeen is from Pakistan. She got married when she was 16, but always had a dream of being a business owner. In 2008, she went through a vocational training program.
After participating in our Business Essentials program through her vocational training, Sarafeen’s business has been rapidly growing. In the program, she learned how to save, budget, and reinvest to further grow her business. Sarafeen uses ledgers to track expenses and revenue and now knows exactly how much she is making at the end of each month. After paying all of her expenses, Sarafeen profits 10,000 Rs ($100 USD) monthly.
Sarafeen would like other Pakistani women who dream of being business women to follow their dreams:
“Don’t give up. You should stand and pursue your life and you will gain value as well.”
