Meet Nakabiri
In between her close circle of friends and family, Nakabiri was always considered the “go-to” beautician. Her business was generating income but she did not know how to get to the next level. After training, specifically concepts regarding products, comparative advantages and how to identify community needs and consumer trends, Stella invested in different styles and materials to expand her product inventories. She learned how to market herself and her business beyond her current customer base and challenged herself to find new clients to come to her hair dressing shop. Applying skills from her training, she implemented an incentive driven “word of mouth” marketing program. Her business took off within 2 months and now she receives 2 to 4 customers on any given day. Her goal now is to train other women to help her with the work load and bring more income generating opportunities to women in her community.
