Meet Lena

Her business: Veterinary Services and Supplies. Lena has loved animals her whole life and she has long dreamed of operating a veterinary supplies business but in rural Kenya, its not common for women to take on these types of endeavors. Lena, using what she learned in business training about translating passions and knowledge into actionable efforts in customer service and ignoring the naysayers, launched her own storefront in the spring of 2019.

Her business provides medicine, supplements and vet services for area livestock farmers and serves a pioneering effort in her community, inspiring other young women to follow their dreams regardless of the industry and type of work.
